A stone’s throw from Novo mesto, the Šeruga Farmhouse lies peacefully in a remote, green valley, surrounded by woods and forests and encircled by a bubbling stream. Once a flour mill, now a welcoming retreat for nature lovers and those who appreciate home-made, local cuisine. The surrounding area offers many opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, swimming. The thermal spas of Dolenjske and Šmarješke toplice are in the immediate vicinity.
Rooms are traditionally furnished with natural materials and offer free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen satellite TV and air conditioning. Some rooms also have a balcony. You can have breakfast and lunch. Private parking is free.
At the homestead, you will be pampered with love for nature, tradition, excellent home-made dishes and wines. For their efforts, they were awarded with state awards for architecture, cuisine and preservation of tradition. They also received the Slovenia Green Accommodation label for sustainable accommodation.

Okolica

  • The surrounding area is not far behind with hospitality: walks, hiking, fishing, cycling, carriage rides, horseback riding in the equestrian center, swimming in a nearby spa or river, boating, rafting and more and more še For sports enthusiasts, there is a golf course in Otočec nearby or a golf course in Mokrice, 20 minutes away. Horses, including Lipizzaners, can be used on the Hosta farm near Šentjernej, or you can take advantage of the possibility of canoeing on the Krka. For lovers of hiking, the mighty Gorjanci are here, or you can opt for an easier walk past the vineyard cottages on Trska gora. Or simply, with a bike over the ridge and downhill, never miss it here! The Pleterje Carthusian Monastery with an open-air museum invites you to visit, go to the Kostanjevica Cave or the Božidar Jakac Gallery. Castle lords can choose between castles: Žužemberk, Soteska, Otočec, Mokrice, Hmeljnik, Stari grad, Brežice… They bathe in the nearby spas, Dolenjske or Šmarješke.
